Autism Waiver The Maryland Autism Waiver provides an array of services for eligible children with autism spectrum disorders ages one to 21 to support them in their homes and communities. These services are at no cost to families. Through the waiver, children are be eligible for services such as Respite Care, Intensive Individual Supports, Therapeutic Recreation and Environmental Adaptations. All waiver participants also receive a Medicaid card. To apply for the waiver, or for more information, contact Montgomery County Waiver Specialist, David Cross, at 301-279-3936, or Joan Liversidge, the Montgomery County Infants and Toddlers contact at 240-777-4477.
